RealLivePeople(in)Motion – The Third Shift Preview

The Third Shift Preview
RealLivePeople(in)Motion
Arden Theatre: 40 N. 2nd, Old City Philadelphia
Performing on Friday October 5th at 6:30pm, 7:00pm and 7:30pm

Created for ‘Make it. Break it. Rebuild it.’–an interdisciplinary event with 25 fine artists and 6 dance pieces spread out over 5 evenings and put together as part of the Philadelphia Fringe Festival–“The Third Shift” was the first product of RealLivePeople(in)Motion’s ongoing investigation of jobs and work. For this piece we focused specifically on the work that had been done in this particular warehouse in the past 200 years: dye, glue, wool and hosiery were all made in this building.

For more information about the piece go to: rlpim.wordpress.com/

The work was created in collaboration with the performers: Adams Berzins, Gina Hoch-Stall (Choreographer/Director), Molly Jackson and Sara Nye. Peter Chomko filmed the piece and the music used for the video is by Los Campesinos.
